The British High Commission in Kingston promotes British interests and represents the totality of the British Government in its relations with the government of Jamaica . We are also responsible for maintaining the UK’s relationship with the Bahamas.

The High Commission works with Jamaica through its Political and Public Diplomacy offices, the Consular section, Corporate Services, The Ministry of Defence (MOD), The Department for International Development (DFID), the Serious Organized Crime Agency (SOCA) , UK Trade and Investments (UKTI) and UK Border Agency (UKBA).
