Q & A on Afghanistan

I just met 100 people in Taunton as part of a Cabinet trip to the South West. Best question - "Why do Al Qaeda hate us so much?" Part of the answer was to read Bruce Riedel's book, "The Search for Al Qaeda". There was also lots on our "allegiance" to President Karzai's government.

Sir, you are doing for the establishment of peace in the unstable regions of the world. You are the emerging STRONG leader of tomorrow; unstable regions of the world are demanding for your leadership for peace. Al Qaeda has lost their ground and place in the hearts of HUMANS and certainly will go to end; so such inhumane terrorist organisations hate to humanity. World Community must take strong actions against terrorism.

This is an honest and important question. Not only Al Qaeda , but People arround the world hates the policey of US and Uk governments due to the fact that they believe that these these two countries does not involve to help them rather than it helps its interests , and they can help and protect dectators as long as it does not conflict with thier intersts & they dont care about the people nor their rights and freedom. Getting rid of dectators like president Ali Saleh of Yemen and many other similar dectators will totally illiminate Al Qaeda and they will not find an execuse to exist and they will not get they support of the people.

It is hard for me to think that most of the world does not hate the US and UK policies. Afghanistan has been an absolutely poverty stricken land. Shaker Aamer went to dig water wells for the people, not unlike Greg Mortenson Author of 3 Cups of Tea, who was very white, so was never under suspicion, but praised by Vice Pres. Biden. When Muslims went to help them in 2001, they were sold for $5,000 like a million in Western monetary system to the U.S. because they looked like "bad guys." Shaker Aamer and his friend were sold and even though Mr. Aamer had lived and contributed to the community in the U.K. The UK gov. didn't go get him and now after 8 years he still sits in one of the most gruel-torturous prisons in the world. It has adopted torture techniques used in the prison camps of the Nazis' and the Vietnam-Chinese.
