More than a Facelift

You might have noticed that the look of the Foreign Office website has changed. Actually, it’s more than just a facelift. There is now more focus on top global issues, with information offered in one and place in different, more engaging ways. There is also easier access to key Foreign Office services and information.

This is important because it reflects our commitment to clearly inform and genuinely engage on foreign policy, and to use the web to make a difference on important global issues.

Look out for changes in the design of this blog soon…

Sir, thanks for this change; this was the demand of the hour. Global issues play an important part in deciding the global thinking of any nation; i think this change in fco weblog will play an important role in this.

I can't see an obvious signpost to these topics from here - nothing in the side bar.

Dear Foreign Secretary!!! No doubt there has been change in the how the website outlook and content and that is commendable. But Situation on ground has not changed much. According to visit of higher officials to pakistan in first week of october, The processing time for visas , as promised, should be 15 days. But like hundreds of other students i have been waiting for my student visa for the past 3 months now. I think website outlook improvement matters alot but facilitating our "first Step to mecca of knowledge" is even more important
