Good news from Zimbabwe?

This article in the Times by Jan Raath  suggests things might be turning in Zimbabwe. We shall see. We have always said that we should be ready to support a government which is serving the interests of the Zimbabwean people and that remains the case.

Britain should not restore full diplomatic relations with Zimbabwe until Robert Mugabe is removed as President. The man is an evil despot.

Dear David, I agree with Justin's 1st comment. Mr.Mugabe is really an "Evil Despot". Maybe also a devilish manSorry. But I also agree with you,"That we should be ready to support a government which is serving ... the Zimbabwean people". My opinion to this sad but important fact is : The Zimbabwean people are dying, starving and suffering just because of Mr. Mugabe's "Terror- Regime". Can we really just close our eyes and ignore this circumstance ? I don't think so. Therefore, we should at least try to help the people now. They can't afford to wait until a new democratic government is elected. Of course, we should "...be ready to support..." this government. Let us hope that it will happen soon. Best wishes, Ingo-Steven Wais
