This is understandable, particularly given the release a few days ago of an Auditor General’s report on this subject, though media reports of that have been selective and given little attention to the unusual nature of these investigations or to the very limited role of a governor in respect of the financial aspects.

I believe that that is what most decent people in Cayman, including the vast majority of police officers, want to see. Unfortunately it has not been a simple road getting there.
