Last week a former, now reformed British gangster was in Cayman at the invitation of one of the churches. John Pridmore went round the schools spreading the message, from his own experience, that a life of crime leads nowhere – apart from prison and possibly an early death.
We have just had another horrific shooting here. The police and hopefully the courts will get to the bottom of that particular incident. I wish that that small part of this generally law-abiding community who get involved with guns would learn the lessons of people like John.
