Sunny Christmas - warmest wishes at Christmas time

Children's Christmas party at the Ambassador's Residence

This is a brief message to wish you all a lovely Christmas. In Chile, Christmas  is in summer time, so our Christmas trees have cotton to imitate snow. Yesterday, while most people were doing last Christmas shopping we were enjoying an afternoon in the pool. Today most people work only half day and then families get together to celebrate. So, my warmest wishes to you all.

Hi Maria Pia,brthanks for sharing with us so much of your activities. I think what you do is extremely important because turns the abstract idea of co-operation into development and true welfare for many in Chile and UK. It might sound strange that an Italian can be so concerned about this, but I must say that for a number of personal and professional reasons my relationship with both countries is quite strong. brI'd also like to say, Maria Pia, that I reckon your job crucial not simply from a commercial perspective but also from a human one: it is learning from each other the best way of doing things, it is sharing thoughts about a better world for us and our children, it is enthusiasm for people and life. it is pure WILL TO WIN, together! brLooking at the pictures and reading about your life, you really look the best example for all of us!. brLet me end my brief note by wishing you, your family and the readers of your blog, health and joy in the New Year. brLooking forward to reading more from you. brValentina
