About Bob
I have been a career diplomat since 1974 and have spent most of my career in Africa serving in Angola, Mozambique, Senegal, Zimbabwe and Madagascar though my first overseas posting was to Sri Lanka. My last job was as the British Permanent Representative to the African Union and Ambassador to Ethiopia.
I am married to Jenny who is with me in Nigeria and have one daughter, Kate and one son, Rob. I am currently Her Majesty's High Commissioner to Nigeria, Non-Resident Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea and Benin and Permanent Representative to ECOWAS.
