The solar alternative

HMA Bob Dewar visit to company making solar panels

Also visited a company making solar panel/ power packs. Already making an impact in terms of powering fridges for vaccines, with great potential for street lights, small businesses, offices, isolated communities etc.

The national power grid is not working well up here and many operations in Kano are on 24 hour generators.

I am a prospective postgraduate student of the University of Manchester. I see you have an interest in the power supply industry in Nigeria. I dont think solar energy systems can comfortably substitute the already existing power supply systems. I have always maintained that the problem with the National Grid is the distribution section of the power supply systems that make up the Grid. More emphasis should be laid on the maintenace of the distribution section of these power supply systems. Solar energy systems should be viewed ONLY as an alternative to the already existing power supply systems. Cheers.

Very much interesting post!! I am very much eager to apply this… And everyone must be keenly capitalized on how to use our electric energy in order to reduce bills and utilize the natural resource of solar power. And I like to share my points for a easiest way to built the solar panel for our home applications with very much affordable cost, I heard about one company called ‘Earth4Energ’; This is a modern and potential company, which helps us to build our own solar panel with the cost is less than $200. Can you tell me strides and cost to build your solar panel system & please disclose how much watts can be produced? Right now I owned 2 solar panels with just only $100 using Earth4Energy, which I am using it for fridge and lights.

HI, in the present world approximately we are using 500 quadrillion British thermal units Btu of electricity per day. And we are spending 30 of our income towards our monthly electricity bill. According to my view every individual family can generate power by building our own solar panels. Yes, we can build our cool new solar panel at affordable cost, by following the simple and very effective book as well as video guidance of ‘How to make a solar panel’ we can analyze some brawny information and cool projects to build the solar panels. Let us use the solar power and make the world green and cool.
