About Dominick
I took up post as the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Washington in January 2008.
I joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in 1982. My career has taken me to Turkey, Lebanon, Brussels, Sri Lanka and the Maldives and now the United States. I’ve also served in many different policy positions in London. Most recently I was the High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
I was born in 1959. After school at St Joseph's College, Ipswich, I served in the Royal Navy for a year. I studied philosophy and theology at Greyfriars Hall, Oxford University. I am married and have four children.
